You might want to add a relatively new course, Dundonald Links, to your program for the West coast of Scotland.  The course got a lot of attention in 2017 with the Scottish Open and Ladies Scottish Open events.  Just down the road from Royal Troon, it was known as Fort Donald with fortifications going back between 500 and 200 B.C. Originally built in the early 1900’s as a golf course, it was converted for military use during WWII and then back to a golf course in the early 2000’s.  A beautiful site.
